Bollywood kickstarted its award season with the 69th edition of Filmfare Awards over the weekend. The Filmfare Awards 2024 was held in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar. The award ceremony was hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana, Maniesh Paul, and Karan Johar. There were several outstanding performances by Bollywood superstars Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, etc.
Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal ruled the award ceremony. Whereas, actress Alia Bhatt also won the Best Actress award for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal won a total of 6 trophies. Additionally, 12th Fail also won some of the most significant awards for the fabulous night, including Best Director and Best Film.
